Flourished Italic & Pen Italic

Due to these features, many modern and traditional calligraphy artists apply this style in their artworks. This calligraphy style is divided into simple Italic and decorative Italic in which the simple Italic calligraphy requires a higher speed to perform in comparison with the decorative one. 2 – Gothic calligraphy with pen developed mostly after the appearance and performance of Italic calligraphy by Master Mojtaba Karami in recent years. Performing and training this calligraphical style is inspired by the modern Nasta’liq style with pen and is facilitated by simple implements. This facilitation however has some limitations. Due to its slow speed of performing, it cannot be used for daily affairs and it is not possible to write it in a large scale. Nevertheless, this style of calligraphy is pleasant to see for all those who like it and are interested in writing down whatever they like in a language they desire. It is recommended to those who like to learn an artistic work to participate in copperplate calligraphy courses. The usable tool for this style is inclusively BIC pens in 1 and 1.6 sizes as well as pencils in which the calligrapher, by adjusting the pressure of pen on paper tries to provide delicacy and thickness for the calligraphy. It should be stated that this method of calligraphy is not practically applicable for medical occupations and similar jobs with time constraints.
